Cask Ales

We stock a variety of Cask Ales from national and local brewers. Products kept in stock are Bass - Courage Best - Fullers London Pride - Old Speckled Hen - Otter Bitter and Otter Ale. We are always looking to develop our cask ale range so please call for any "Guest Ales" we have in stock.

Old Speckled Hen 4.5%

A full, smooth flavour and very easy to drink. Its rich amber colour and superb fruity aromas are complemented by a delicious blend of malty tastes. Toffee and malt combine with bitterness on the back of the tongue to give a balanced sweetness.This is followed by a refreshingly dry finish.

London Pride 4.1%

Fuller’s London Pride is an award-winning classic. A rich, smooth and wonderfully balanced beer, its distinctive malty base is complemented by well developed hop character, from adding Target, Challenger and Northdown varieties to the brew

Courage 4%

Pale brown in appearance with a bitter after taste, consumers enjoy its lower ABV of 4% that allows them the opportunity to enjoy their favourite ale for longer

Otter Ale 4.5%

This is the beer that started it all. The head of the stable. Otter Ale is a very well balanced beer that delivers the flavours of quality floor malted barley and finishes with a combination of fruit and some bitterness. Its nose is a balance of malt and fruit.

Otter Bitter 3.6%

Otter Bitter is a session beer. Otter Bitter is a beautifully light and fruity beer with good hoppy bitterness. It leaves a refreshing bitterness which prompts the next gulp. A wonderful, old fashioned beer. Brewed for drinking with no frills.

Wells Bombardier 4.3%

An award winning premium cask ale using only the finest ingredients - hand sampled English challenger and fuggles hops and crushed crystal malt, Wells Bombardier is uniquely brewed using natural mineral water from the brewery's own, accredited well.
